I’m here and ready to Celebrate the Small Things! If you are new to this blog hop, all you have to do is sign up on the linky below if you want to join! If you already have, then go around to each blog that signed up and congratulate or just say YAY to everyone and their accomplishments for this week! (Full instructions at our host Vikki’s post here!)
So here I am bright and early to celebrate the small things! I am especially grateful to have met my critique partner, Vicki, last weekend for our Writing Weekend. I got a lot done on my manuscript and I’m hoping the end (at least the first draft) is in sight! She also let me borrow a few books from her vast library. One of them was Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. O.M.G. I am LOVING that book. I have like 40 pages left to read and I can’t wait to get the next one in the series. So good! Don’t you just love when a book is recommended to you and it is just as good as the person said it would be?? Lastly, although not finished yet, I started working on my synopsis for my manuscript as it needs to be turned in by July 1st for the Midwest Writers Workshop I’m attending near the end of July. The fact that I have a working draft makes me feel a bit better since I was really procrastinating on even thinking about working on it.
As for non-writing related things, I need to again appreciate my wonderful husband. I’ve allowed myself to yet again get a little stressed about trying to finish up this manuscript for the conference and he has been very supportive, leaving me little notes here and there on my desk for encouragement. It’s crazy how much that helps! Also, started really getting down to the details of my trip to Chicago for one of my best friend’s bachelorette party and I’m getting excited! I’ve never been to Chicago so it should be a blast.
What did you celebrate this week? Let me know in the comments or join the hop and I will find out on your blog!

I love the Hush, Hush series, I haven’t read the final one yet because I keep forgetting about it, but I’m dying to know what happens next!
Yay for the synopsis. That’s always the last thing I do, because I hate them so much
Chicago is a great city–you’ll have a blast!
Congrats on making progress on your synopsis! π
Yay! So glad you’re loving that book!! It’s one of my faves, and I knew you’d like it. π
I haven’t heard of the Hush, Hush series but I like the name already π
I don’t like synopsis. Well, I like reading them but not writing them. I have mine up and I’m still iffy about it but I dread having to fix it o_0 Yay for making progress on yours!
Glad you had a great time with Vicki, it seemed very productive and fun with the wine and chocolate π
So many wonderful things to celebrate here! Cheers!
Sounds like you had a great week with lots to celebrate. I haven’t heard of the Hush Hush book, but am adding it to my reading wish list.
I am new to the bloghop.

Happy celebrations. Firstly on your wonderfully supportive husband and secondly, on the progress on your book.
How sweet of your husband to leave you notes! Good luck with the synopsis.
Sorry if I’m being a little dim, but I could not find where to sign up for the bloghop. The “click here” link didn’t do it. Thanks!
