So I’ve been slacking a bit on this blog. Okay, well, A LOT. But I have tons to celebrate so let’s get started!

First, I was selected as the new blogger over at YAStands! It’s a group blog where YA writers talk about multiple topics from getting published to giveaways! You can check out my first post here (I reference Dory from Finding Nemo so you automatically have to love it!) Between YAStands and The Writer Diaries though, I can’t make anymore commitments or I will never have time for the thing I’m always blogging about – the writing!

I lined up a sweet giveaway for the end of month for The Writer Diaries – so be sure to be checking back there for more details!!

I finished reading my good friend, Vicki’s, manuscript. It gets better each time I read it!

I also got back into a groove of blogging on my own blog here. Look at all my posts lately!

Also, I reached 1,000 Twitter followers! Woohoo!! Not that it’s a major deal, but I remember when I first joined Twitter and thinking, “I wonder how long it will take me to get to 1,000?” Like it was some grand, unachievable thing. And here we are! It’s not so grand but still nice to see how much is changing for me this year!

Lastly, I wanted to give a shout out to S.K. Anthony and Tawney Bland. They are always commenting over at The Writer Diaries and sometimes on my own stuff. Just wanted to let you girlies know that it is thoroughly noticed and appreciated. What’s the fun in sharing things if no one seems to get anything out of it? Thanks for your comments and support now and always!

As for non-writing related things, my sister is doing really well in her softball playoff season – so, YAY Laura! Uhh, and the weather is actually starting to feel like spring and stay that way! Finally! You really had me worried there for awhile, Ohio.
