I’ve taken a bit of a break from writing this past week and I feel okay about it. I was trying to rush myself towards an ever-closing deadline and it made me stressed out. My story is a priority to me but it’s not going to run my life. I’m okay with it being done when I get it done. I have a writing weekend planned with one of my CPs for next weekend, so that should get my butt in gear to pump out the last of it anyway.
As for non-writing related things, I got an unexpected raise at work (YAAY!!) and my sister is home for the summer from college. Ohio is finally starting to stay warm every day (except for when it strayed off course Mother’s Day weekend and was super COLD). Oh, and I have a special writing friend who should be making a huge announcement very soon that I am over-the-moon pumped about!!! And it’s Friday today. That’s always reason to celebrate in my book 🙂
